Members of Brant Broughton and Stragglethorpe Parish Council are summoned to attend the Meeting on Thursday 27th May at 7.40 pm The meeting will be held in the Village/Jubilee Hall on West Street, Brant Broughton.
Agenda
1. Declarations of interest
2. Public time to include County and District Councillor reports.
3. Apologies for absence.
4. Resolution to approve the Minutes of meeting held on 15th April 2021.
5. Highways –Various potholes.
6. Rectory Field – update on repair fencing near gate into Rectory Field on High Street.
7. Planning – 21/0065 new windows at 71 High Street – approved. 21/0432 – replacement doors and windows at The Stables, Stragglethorpe – pending consideration. 21/0451 and 0493 – tree works at 7 Guildford Lane – approved. S21/0548 – tree works at 120 High Street – approved. 21/0476 – discussion and resolution re annexe at 5 Lincoln Road, BB.
8. Phone kiosk – update by Cllrs Cain & Swain.
9. Trees – discussion and resolution on species of trees to be planted in Rectory Field, Village Green and Stragglethorpe Churchyard. Costs will need to be agreed at the next meeting and planting in the autumn.
10. Path at Old Rectory – discussion on email received regarding planting periwinkle and resolution.
11. Community Project – discussion as to whether any ideas for the Archbishop of York’s Young Leaders Award.
12. Financial – Resolve to sign Bank Reconciliation at 30.4.21. Bank balance at 30.4.21 = £32,472.74 . Payments since last meeting: Salary and expenses £346.24 ; Internal auditor £50; Bank charge £18; Grants - PFA £285; Brownies £102; Village Hall £482.
13. Annual Parish Meeting – due to Covid this has been deferred to next year.
14. Date of next meeting – 8th July 2021.
