Members of Brant Broughton and Stragglethorpe Parish Council are summoned to attend the Meeting on Thursday 15th April at 7.30 pm.
In accordance with regulations relating to COVID-19 this will be a virtual meeting using Zoom.
Members of the public are welcome to attend every meeting and time will be limited to 15 minutes in total. ***see paragraph 2 for full instructions.

1. Declarations of interest
2. Public time to include County and District Councillor reports *** Should any member of the public wish to attend the virtual meeting, you must send an email to bbsparish@gmail.com at least 3 days prior to the meeting with your name and complete address for verification purposes. If you wish to speak then please advise that you would like to speak at the meeting with an outline of the subject. Please note that BBSPC complies with GDPR. You will need to have your microphone muted during the meeting and the Chair will ask you to speak at the appropriate time, when it can be unmuted.
3. Apologies for absence.
4. Resolution to approve the Minutes of meeting held on 18th February 2021.
5. Highways – Footpath outside The Bothy – update. Various potholes.
6. Rectory Field – the gate at High Street needs repair – discussion and resolution. Request by contractor (PB) to reduce height of the apple trees so he can get under them to strim – approximately £40-£50.
7. Planning – 21/0065 new windows at 71 High Street – pending consideration. 21/0262 and 0272 – tree works at 106A High Street – approved. 21/0263 – tree works at 2-4 Meeting House Lane – approved.
8. Phone kiosk – funding now approved and defibrillator pro forma invoice received – funds requested. Resolution regarding equipment required for refurbishment, and cost.
9. Trees – resolution regarding request by Village Hall Committee to prune the tree on the Village Green as it is overhanging the Hall roof. Resolution regarding a request for us to plant a spring blossom tree to mark hope and renewal (village green or rectory field?). Our tree inspection is next due in January 2022.
10. Financial – Resolve to sign Bank Reconciliation at 31.3.21. Bank balance at 31.3.21 = £15,371.98. Payments since last meeting: Salary and expenses £1,038.38; LALC subscription £242.29; PFA £1,664.02.
Resolution to sign Section 1 of the AGAR form and resolution to sign Section 2 of the AGAR form.
11. Date of next meeting – 27th May 2021 – Annual Parish Meeting, Annual meeting of the Parish Council and regular meeting. Start time to be agreed. This will be a face to face meeting.
