Members of Brant Broughton and Stragglethorpe Parish Council are summoned to attend the Meeting on Tuesday 3rd September 2019 at Jubilee Hall, Brant Broughton for 7.30 pm

 

Members of the public are welcome to attend every meeting to discuss any issues you wish to raise. After the public time has ended, the public can choose to leave, or stay to listen to the rest of the agenda.

 

1.       Declarations of interest

2.       Public time to include County and District Councillor reports.

3.       Apologies for absence.

4.       Resolution to approve the Minutes of meeting on 23rd July 2019.

5.      Highways – pothole and vegetation over footpaths – reported and being looked into.

6.      Village Entrance gates update by Cllr George.

7.      SID – update by Cllr George.

8.            Tree works – no invoice yet received.

9.           Parish field – discussion regarding re-positioning of gate and trimming of boundary hedge

              – resolution on way forward.

10.       Assets and liabilities – Millennium sign installed?

11.       Planning –

19/0838 – tree works at 66 High Street – approved.

              19/0899 tree works at 21 High Street – approved.

              19/0934 – 68 High Street – remove chimney stack, roof – pending consideration.

               19/0994 – tree works at 53 high Street – approved.

               19/1071 – tree works at 2 Church Walk – approved.

               19/1192 – tree works at 2 Swans Lane – comments required.

12.          Litter picks – NK will provide 30 of each componen

13.         Welcome letters & information booklet – resolution as to re-printing of booklet.  Cllr Green any update on information of newcomers through SKDC.

14.         Policies – resolution to approve updated Financial Regulations and Financial Risk Assessment.

15.        Finance –

            Bank balance at 31.7.19  £29,431.18

             Resolution to sign income/expenditure/budget reconciliation.

             Payments since last meeting:

              Salaries £609.86;   PFA grant £145; Bank charge £18; Internal audit £50;

              Gates £2,386.08                                             

16.    Date of Next Meeting:  22nd October 2019 at 7.30 pm.

17.     Resolution to go into closed session to deal with  employment matters and to consider an ICO request.
