Members of Brant Broughton and Stragglethorpe Parish Council are summoned to attend the Meeting on Tuesday 23rd July 2019 at Village Hall, Brant Broughton for 7 pm Members of the public are welcome to attend every meeting to discuss any issues you wish to raise. After the public time has ended, the public can choose to leave, or stay to listen to the rest of the agenda items.

Agenda 1. To meet prospective Councillors and vote on person to be co-opted. Resolution to co-opt and join Councillors at table.

2. Declarations of interest.

3. Public time to include County and District Councillor reports.

4. Apologies for absence.

5. Resolution to approve the Minutes of the meeting held on 11.6.19.

6. Report on Cluster meeting.

7. SID - update and resolution if required. [MG]

8. Village Gates – update and resolution if required. [MG]

9. Tree Inspection–update on works (PD)

10. Assets and liabilities – Confirmation that all bins are now in place (JS). Update on repair of the Millennium sign (PD). Update on wobbly bench (KS). Bus shelter windows installed and invoice paid. Snicket between Robinson Close and West Street – NK responsibility.

11. Planning - 19/0430 – LBC for new Boiler at 23 High Street – approved; 19/0663 – dormer window & rooflights at 53 High Street – approved; 19/0783 – fell tree at 1 Church Walk – approved; 19/0838 – tree work at 66 High Street – pending consideration; 19/0899 – tree works at 12 High Street – pending consideration.

12. Litter pick applications - Resolution regarding applications by Toddler Group and PFA.

13. Update regarding FP12 cutting.

14. Resolution regarding distribution of welcome letters and information brochure.

15. Resolution as to whether access should be given to Councillors, to LALC website.

16. Resolution to accept Grants Policy as it stands (see attached) and to review/extinguish Health & Safety Policy (see attached).

17. Finance – (i) Bank balance at 30.6.19 = £28,571.59. (ii) Resolution to sign income/expenditure/budget reconciliation. (iii) Auditors confirmation of Exempt status. Payments since last meeting: Salary and expenses £977.06; ICO subscription £35; LALC training fee £15; Grass-cutting and re-siting of bin £495; New bus shelter windows £503.59; Litter pick £300; PFA grant monies £2,145.
