Members of Brant Broughton and Stragglethorpe Parish Council are summoned to attend a Meeting on Thursday 9th March 2023 at 7 pm

The meeting will be held in the Village/Jubilee Hall on West Street, Brant Broughton.

 

 

Public time to include County and District Councillor reports. 

Agenda

 

  1. Apologies for absence.

 

  1. Resolution to approve the Minutes of meeting held on 19th January 2023.

 

  1. Stragglethorpe straw debris – update by Cllr George.

 

  1. Noticeboards –  resolution to repair Stragglethorpe noticeboard.

 

  1. Information boards – update by Cllrs Swain and K Salmon.

 

  1. Planning –

22/1679 – 114 High Street, BB – insulation and rendering – approved.

22/1759 – 101A High Street, BB – conversion of car port – approved.

23/0019 – 7 Maltkiln Lane – tree works – approved.

23/0091 – Land at Orchard House, Stragglethorpe – condition variation – pending.

 

  1. Litter picks – Pre School, PFA and Primary School have each applied.  Suggest we agree (in order of application as shown), Autumn 2023, Spring 2024 and Autumn 2024. 

 

  1. Village Hall – discuss and resolve request re employment matters.

 

  1. Relief in Need Charity – appointment of a PC Councillor as Trustee.

 

  1. Annual Parish Meeting – resolve format and arrangements.

 

  1. Financial –   Resolve to sign Bank Reconciliation at 31.1.23 and 28.2.23.

Bank balance at 28.2.23 is £18,122.65.

Payments since last meeting:  Salary and expenses £803.14; Training £18;

Village hall hire £15; Christmas tree £185

Confirm P Barnett’s charge from April is £1,160 same as currently.

Resolution for any donation to be made to CAB Mid Lincs.
