Members of Brant Broughton and Stragglethorpe Parish Council are summoned to attend a Meeting on Thursday 27th October 2022 at 7.15 pm
The meeting will be held in the Village/Jubilee Hall on West Street, Brant Broughton.
Agenda
1. Meet new Councillor followed by co-option. Signature of Declaration of Acceptance of Office. Signature by Councillors of Receipt of new Code of Conduct and collection of DPI forms.
2. Public time to include County and District Councillor reports.
3. Apologies for absence.
4. Resolution to approve the Minutes of meetings held on 4th August 2022.
5. Trees and Rectory Field– pollarding of tree on village green – completed and paid.
Benches – 2 Lowther benches now in situ – thanks to those that did the putting together and positioning of benches.
Christmas Tree update.
6. Stragglethorpe – straw debris (Cllr George).
7. School Safety Zone – (Cllr Swain).
8. Dog faeces – any improvement generally since editorial done?
9. Litter bins – burnt litter bins – new bins been ordered – delivered?
10. Bus shelter – noticeboard – update KS.
11. Planning –
22/0968 – tree works at 6 Maltkiln Lane, BB – approved.
22/1032 – Prior notification of agricultural development – store shed & grain store
Brant House Farm – prior approval refused.
22/1118 – conversion at 106B High Street -pending consideration.
22/1173 – Tree works at Willow House – approved.
22/1271 – LBC replacement windows at The School House, BB – pending consideration.
22/1293 – extensions at 99 High Street – pending consideration – any comments?
22/1326 – tree works at 3 Church Walk – approved.
12. Financial – Resolve to sign Bank Reconciliations at 31.8.22 and 30.9.22.
Bank balance at 30.9.22 is £26,317.30.
Payments since last meeting: Salaries and expenses £1067.02; Hall hire £15;
Benches (installation and purchase) £1500.94; CHT annual defib maintenance £162;
Bank charge £18; Baby & Toddlers grant £136.50.
Discuss future projects so that allowances can be made in precept.
Grant applications – update by Clerk.
