Members of Brant Broughton and Stragglethorpe Parish Council are summoned to attend the Meeting on Thursday 18th February at 7.30 pm.

In accordance with regulations relating to COVID-19 this will be a virtual meeting using Zoom.

 

Members of the public are welcome to attend every meeting and time will be limited to 15 minutes in total.  ***see paragraph 2 for full instructions.

  1. Declarations of interest
  1. Public time to include County and District Councillor reports *** Should any member of the public wish to attend the virtual meeting, you  must send an email to bbsparish@gmail.com at least 3 days prior to the meeting with your name and complete address for verification purposes.  If you wish to speak then please advise that you would like to speak at the meeting with an outline of the subject.  Please note that BBSPC complies with GDPR.  You will need to have your microphone muted during the meeting and the Chair will ask you to speak at the appropriate time, when it can be unmuted.
  1. Apologies for absence.
  1. Resolution to approve the Minutes of meeting held on 14th January 2021.
  1. Police speed monitoring – waiting to hear when Mark Wood or Jo Mackie may be able to attend.
  1. Highways – update on footpaths outside Broughton College and Spring Cottage.   Various potholes reported but many exist.
  1. Planning – 20/1127 – Creation of vehicular access and erection of gates at The Bothy – approved; 20/1457 – 20/1548 – new air source heat pump at Village Hall – approved; 20/1603 – new car port at 101A High Street, BB – approved; 20/1713 – tree works at 10 Meeting House Lane – approved; 21/0018 – tree works at 26-28 High Street – approved.
  1. Phone kiosk – Discussion and resolution as to way forward with regard to refurbishment and installation of defibrillator, book swap and seed swap.   Still awaiting response from Trustees regarding funding request for a defibrillator.  Phone box is now insured – public liability covers volunteers but need names.  Discussion and resolution as to defibrillator to be purchased once funding in place and phone box ready.
  1. Financial –   Resolve to sign Bank Reconciliation at 31.1.21.   Bank balance at 31.1.21 = £18,316.67.   Payments since last meeting:  Salary and expenses £346.04; LRSP speed signs £40; PFA £186.
  1. Date of next meeting – 25th March APM ???  -  15th April regular meeting
