Members of Brant Broughton and Stragglethorpe Parish Council are summoned to attend the Meeting on Thursday 26th November 2020 at 7.30 pm.

In accordance with regulations relating to COVID-19 this will be a virtual meeting using Zoom.

 

Members of the public are welcome to attend every meeting and time will be limited to 15 minutes in total.  ***see paragraph 2 for full instructions.

1.                   Declarations of interest

2.                   Public time to include County and District Councillor reports and Village Hall Committee. *** Should any member of the public wish to attend the virtual meeting, you  must send an email to bbsparish@gmail.com at least 3 days prior to the meeting with your name and complete address for verification purposes.  If you wish to speak then please advise that you would like to speak at the meeting with an outline of the subject.  Please note that BBSPC complies with GDPR.  You will need to have your microphone muted during the meeting and the Chair will ask you to speak at the appropriate time, when it can be unmuted 

3.                   Apologies for absence.

4.                   Resolution to approve the Minutes of meeting held on  22nd October.

5.                   Resolution to approve Protocol on Remote Access to Meetings document.

6.                   Highways –Update on footpaths at Spring Cottage, High Street and  outside Broughton House College.  Stopping up of Green Lane, Stragglethorpe –court hearing still to take place.

7.                   Footpath 13 – Order re FP13 out for consultation.

8.                  Planning –   20/1127 – vehicular access and new gates at The Bothy – pending    

 consideration.    20/1185 – erection of front  porch and dormer extensions at 14 Church Lane – approved.  20/1286 and 1359  – tree works at The Heritage Rooms –approved.

               20/1317 – variation of condition at 14 Church Lane, BB – pending consideration;

               20/1408 – tree works at the Almshouses – approved; 20/1409 – tree works at

               Church Walk – approved; 20/1488 – change of use of telephone kiosk – pending  

               consideration; 20/1538 – tree works at 112 High Street, BB – pending consideration.

 

             Planning application for one dwelling at 9 West Street - discussion and resolution as to    

            response to NDKC.

 

9.          Adoption of phone kiosk -   awaiting result of planning application.  BT

              have agreed sale and resolution to sign contract.  Update regarding refurbishment.

10.      Christmas tree – ordered from Doddington Hall and due for delivery on 4th December.

  1.   Village Hall – planning application submitted – pending consideration – likely timescale 6    

              weeks.

12.         Grants - all applications received.  Total Grant expenditure = £10,054.

13.       Finance –

       Precept – first look and any comments.

                Bank balance at 31.10.20.  £20,989.69.

             Resolution to sign income/expenditure/budget reconciliation for October.

             Payments since last meeting:

Salaries & expenses £330.28.; Audit fee £240.00; Computer maintenance £35; Zoom subscription £60.00; PFA grant £190.00;  Baby & Toddlers grant £127.10; PCC grant £269.00.
