Members of Brant Broughton and Stragglethorpe Parish Council are summoned to attend the Meeting on Thursday 22nd October 2020 at 7.30 pm.

In accordance with regulations relating to COVID-19 this will be a virtual meeting using Zoom.

 

Members of the public are welcome to attend every meeting and time will be limited to 15 minutes in total.  ***see paragraph 2 for full instructions.

  1. Declarations of interest

 

  1. Public time to include County and District Councillor reports and Village Hall Committee. *** Should any member of the public wish to attend the virtual meeting, you  must send an email to bbsparish@gmail.com at least 3 days prior to the meeting with your name and complete address for verification purposes.  If you wish to speak then please advise that you would like to speak at the meeting with an outline of the subject.  Please note that BBSPC complies with GDPR.  You will need to have your microphone muted during the meeting and the Chair will ask you to speak at the appropriate time, when it can be unmuted.

  

  1. Apologies for absence.

 

  1. Resolution to approve the Minutes of meeting held on 10th September.

 

  1. Highways –vegetation over footpath at Welbourn Road/High Street; update on footpath at Spring Cottage, High Street; pavement outside Broughton House College; potholes on West Street outside village hall.  Stopping up of Green Lane, Stragglethorpe –court hearing postponed to a date unknown.
  1. Footpath 13 – update.
  1.  Planning –   20/1003 – double car port at 5 High Street – approved.  20/1086 – Single  storey extension at New Grange, Sleaford Road – pending consideration. 20/1127 – vehicular access and new gates at The Bothy – pending consideration.20/1185 – erection of front

           porch and dormer extensions at 14 Church Lane – pending consideration.20/1286 and 1359 – tree works at The Heritage Rooms – pending consideration.  20/1352 and 1330 – tree  works at 106 High Street – pending consideration.

           9 West Street – new application to be submitted for a dwelling – we will get a list of the addresses they mailshot for community involvement.

    

8.          Adoption of phone kiosk -   awaiting result of Pre-Planning application from NK.  BT have agreed sale and resolution to sign contract.

9.         Litter pick -   PFA, Pre-school and a resident have offered to do litter picks. Resolution as to  who by, and when they should be done.

10.       Grants - all applications received.  Cllrs George and K Salmon, and Clerk to discuss and report  at next meeting.  Resolution to agree re-appropriation of PFA funds for the current year’s  grant.

11.        Christmas tree – discussion and resolution regarding acquisition of this year’s tree.

12.        Finance –

            Bank balance at 30.9.20 £22,016.13.

             Resolution to sign income/expenditure/budget reconciliation for September.

             Payments since last meeting:

Salaries & expenses £656.99.; Planning: £75.; Training £27.; Bank charge £18.; PFA grant £470.; Litter pick £300.; PCC donation £1500.
