Meeting of the Parish Council
Members of Brant Broughton and Stragglethorpe Parish Council are summoned to attend a Meeting on Thursday 4th December at 7.15 pm.  The meeting will be held in The Village/Jubilee Hall on West Street, Brant Broughton.

The meeting will start with 15 Minutes of public time during which members of the public may raise any questions, and during which any District or County Councillors present may also provide any information they have.

4. Information boards – update on installation.

6. Highways & footpaths – CSW team now has all equipment and final training is in hand.
Any update on hedges being cut at Playing field and adjacent field?
 
7. Planning:
25/0484 – New house to rear of 10 Guildford Lane – pending consideration.
25/0582 – Demolition of existing bungalow & erection of a replacement bungalow at Homestead Farm, Mill Lane – pending consideration.
25/0927 – alterations and extension at 57-59 High Street, BB – pending consideration.
25/1188 – tree works at 5 Church Walk – approved
25/1274 – Extension at Harts Close, Welbourn Road – pending consideration.
25/1237 – Tree works at 97 High Street, BB – approved.
25/1293 – Replacement pantiles at 8 Church Lane, BB – approved.
25/1344 – tree works at 110 High Street, BB – pending consideration.
25/1434 – tree works at 3 Guildford Lane – any objections?
 
Update and resolution regarding breach of planning at The Barns, Stragglethorpe (MG)
 
8. Leoda Solar Farm – Community Liaison Group has been set up and JS will attend the online meeting on 11th December.
 
9. Financial:
[a] Resolution to approve the bank reconciliations as at 31.10.25 and 30.11.25
      Bank balance at 28.11.25 = £18,045.05
[b] Resolution to agree purchase of Christmas tree for Stragglethorpe at £45.
[c] Resolution to pay Internal Auditor £70.
[d] Discussion and resolution to accept budgets and thereafter resolution to agree precept to be requested.
[e]  Bank charge increasing by £1-  to £7 month from February.
 
10. Date of next meeting:  15th January 2026.
 
 Resolution to go into closed session to discuss staffing matters.
