Members of Brant Broughton and Stragglethorpe Parish Council are summoned to attend a Meeting on Thursday 16th May 2024 at 7 pm
The meeting will be held in the Village/Jubilee Hall on West Street, Brant Broughton.

2. Declarations of interest.
3. Resolution to approve the Minutes of a meeting held on 11th April 2024.
4. Information boards – update by Cllr K Salmon and Cllr S Swain.
5. Highways – no update on overgrown/dead hawthorn trees on verge near 114 High Street, BB – awaiting arborologist report. 12 x 30 mph signs now delivered.
6. Emergency Plan – any update on joint plan with other villages.
7. Planning –
23/0887 – New dwelling at Guildford Yard, West Street – pending consideration.
24/0058 – Brant House 4 bay garage with living space above – approved.
24/0304 – Replacement of roof at 23 High Street, BB – pending consideration.
24/0330 – Tree works at 6 Maltkiln Lane – approved.
24/0338 – Tree works at 1 Church Walk – approved.
24/0433 – Midvil House, Meeting House Lane, extensions and new gate – pending consideration.
24/0457 – Tree works at Broughton House – pending consideration.
24/0498 – Tree works at 2 Swans Lane – pending consideration.
8. Financial:
(a) Resolution to sign bank reconciliation as at 30.4.24. Balance at 30.4.24
is £28,173.27.
(b) Agree monthly expenditure claim for Clerk – £120 per quarter.
(c) Information on Internal Auditor report – primarily website issues. Should keep a
record of when assets are checked and by whom.
(d) Resolution to sign Section 1 of AGAR – Annual Governance Statement.
(e) Resolution to sign Section 2 of ARAR - Accounting Statements.
(f) Thank you letter from PreSchool for 2023 Grant.
