Meeting of the Parish Council
Members of Brant Broughton and Stragglethorpe Parish Council are summoned to attend a Meeting on Thursday 19th September 2024 at 7 pm
The meeting will be held in the Village/Jubilee Hall on West Street, Brant Broughton.
Public time to include County and District Councillor reports.
Agenda
1. Apologies for absence.
2. Declarations of interest.
3. Resolution to approve the Minutes of the meetings held on 11th July 2024.
4. Information boards – Cllr Swain now has information regarding the history of the playing field and is drafting info for the Board.
5. Highways – Information on downloading SID information has been received and given to Mike Early to see if he can download and provide info.
6. Emergency Plan – no information as yet but Cllr Swain is chasing.
7. Planning –
23/0887 – New dwelling at Guildford Yard, West Street – amended plans submitted.
24/0199 – Vary condition re roof height 5 Lincoln Road – approved.
24/0433 – Midvil House, Meeting House Lane, extensions and new gate – pending consideration.
24/0609 – Change of use of storage above garage to granny flat at 35 High St – approved.
24/0665 – tree works at 32 High Street - approved.
24/0718 – Condition variation poultry houses at Leadenham Poultry Unit –approved.
Consider Screening Opinion made re LCC EIA/12/23 and lack of responses – any decision as to way forward?
8. Cluster meeting – Thursday 5th September - update by Cllr Early.
9. Village Show – a new committee has been formed and this does not involve Cllr Swain.
10. Financial:
(a) Resolution to sign bank reconciliations as at 31.7.24 and 31.8.24. Balance at 31.8.24 is £20,975.18.
(b) Resolution to pay external auditors £252. AGAR signed off with no cause for concern.
(c) Assets.
(d) Christmas tree.
(e) New leaflets been ordered for incoming parishioners.
(f) Bin for playing field has been purchased and is on site – thanks to Cllr K Salmon for installing.
