Meeting of the Parish Council
Members of Brant Broughton & Stragglethorpe Parish Council are summoned to attend a meeting on Thursday 22nd October at 7.15 pm. The meeting will be held in The Village Hall/Jubilee Hall on West Street, Brant Broughton.

The meeting will start with 15 minutes of public time during which members of
the public may raise any questions, and during which any District or County
Councillors present may also provide any information they have.
1. Apologies for absence.
2. Declarations of interest.
3. Co-option of Seb Phipps.
4. Resolution to approve the Minutes of the meeting held on 10th September 2026.
5. Highways and footpaths – any update regarding the A17 speed reduction?
6. Planning -
26/0141 – demolition, extensions and new vehicular access – 100 High
Street, BB – approved.
26/0481 – Former Marshall Mill and Land, Sleaford Road – pending
consideration but has been called in.
26/1120 – 2 new dwellings on land between Guildford Lane and Meeting House Lane – any objections?
7. Financial:
Resolution to approve the bank reconciliation at 30.9.26. Bank balance at
30.9.26 was £28,139.80.
Agree to purchase Christmas Tree for Stragglethorpe and resolution as to what to spend.
8. Meeting dates for 2027.
